Simple tree house accommodation aimed at the adventurous traveller; set in tropical forest just a short walk from the beach.

Stilts is an eco-camp and campsite situated in tropical forest just 200 mt from the beach. It consists of 5 tree-houses built out of local materials and nestled in the tree canopies. The bandas don't have their own facilities but share the well maintained communal toilet and shower block.

All the tree houses have a double or twin beds with mosquito nets and their own private veranda/balcony.

Being up in the tree canopy means that they benefit from the sea breeze.

At the centre of the camp is the Stilton Pub with a well-stocked bar and a laid-back atmosphere complete with funzi beds for lazing around in the evening or during the heat of the day. The kitchen serves food throughout the day at reasonable prices (see menu).

Stilts is opposite Ali Barbours Cave and Forty Thieves Beach Bar - Diani's most vibrant beach bar and restaurant and a popular evening hangout for expats and visitors alike. There is an internet cafe at Forty Thieves and the main Diani Shopping Centre is a short walk (or matatu ride) away. Access to the beach is through Forty Thieves bar (www.dianibeachbar.com). Rates (2010) are Ksh 1,200 (approx usd 15) per person sharing and 1,500/- for single occupancy.

Nestled discretely on the canopy floor are two recently completed en-suite cottages with private veranda available for 3,000/- per night (can accommodate up to 4 people).
