A jiko is a charcoal burning stove that is traditionally used in Kenya and many other parts of Africa to cook on (a bit like a small barbeque). It can be used as an incense burner and comes supplied with black incense that has the appearance of charcoal.
All the artisans are Kenyan and the materials are from local sources, to include soapstone, grasses, a variety of woods, goatskin for the drums, recycled scrap for the charcoal cookers.
